Since becoming a freelance consultant in July 2006 I have undertaken a variety of work.
Recent or on-going commissions include:
- Helping to develop a support needs identification tool which has now been used in many parts of the country, including London, the North West region, Suffolk, Gloucestershire, Birmingham and Nottingham.
- • Working with HouseMark & SITRA to develop their support benchmarking tool and doing subsequent benchmarking consultancy on a bespoke basis for various providers and authorities
- Helping a number of organisations review their rent and service charges
- Helping a number of social landlords and managing agents sort out the legal and financial arrangements which allow them to work together productively
- Constructing spreadsheet based VFM tools that allow providers to rapid model in complex costing options
- Working with various providers on tender presentations and solving management problems
